Dripify vs HeyReach: single-seat vs multi-sender outreach (2026)

By the ZenMode team · Pricing and features verified September 3, 2026 · Updated

Quick answer

Dripify prices per user, from $59 a month, and is built around one person running one LinkedIn account; its Basic tier allows one campaign and 20 connection requests a day, so full daily quotas start at Pro ($79). HeyReach prices per LinkedIn sender at $79 a month, charges nothing for human users, and rotates sending across connected accounts into one shared inbox. Dripify requires your LinkedIn password at setup; HeyReach names cookie login as its preferred method and says no password sharing is required for it. Pick Dripify for a solo seller who wants LinkedIn and email in one sequence; pick HeyReach for an agency or team running several LinkedIn accounts at once.

Who each tool is for

Dripify has been at this since 2017, and its plan copy is written for individuals: Basic is "For solo sellers starting out with one campaign and a light daily volume" (pricing page). Teams get unlimited members and three roles, but the billing unit is a person: prices are quoted "per user/month" (pricing), and in practice one user is one LinkedIn account: "Each LinkedIn account is connected to its own Dripify account" (help centre).

HeyReach launched in 2023 with what it calls "the first agency-friendly LinkedIn outreach tool", and meters the other unit entirely. Its headline is "Unlimited senders, one flat monthly fee" and its FAQ is blunt: "HeyReach charges only per LinkedIn senders, not per users. Feel free to onboard your whole organization on HeyReach and manage everything together, completely free of charge" (pricing FAQ). Clients, VAs and colleagues get logins for nothing; senders are what you buy, singly or in bundles of 25 — opposite halves of the same equation, given away.

Where each one runs, and who holds the login

Both are cloud products, and neither needs your computer switched on. Dripify "operates in the cloud and does not require downloading files or adding Chrome extensions", so "you can close your browser, turn your PC off and the software will still work" (FAQ). HeyReach also sends server-side: its connection guide and LinkedIn accounts collection document no desktop client as of 3 September 2026, only an optional Chrome extension for cookie login and Recruiter accounts.

The login is where they part. Dripify's documented method needs your password — "STEP 2: Enter Your LinkedIn Account Credentials" — with the vendor's caveat that "this information is fully encrypted by the system" (help centre). HeyReach has two and makes the passwordless one its default: cookie login is "the preferred way", and "No PIN or password sharing is required for this method". The cost is stated too: "connection sessions last shorter", and a cookie session "remains valid until you log out of LinkedIn from the computer you used" (help centre). Its credential route takes an email, password and optional 2FA key.

Both must therefore answer the IP question. HeyReach is precise: "a dedicated static residential proxy (i.e. real IP address that never changes) to each of your LinkedIn accounts… never shares that IP between two accounts" (help centre) — bundled on the entry plan, though "the 'Agency' and 'Unlimited' plans require you to bring your own proxies" (pricing). Dripify claims a per-account IP too, "a unique IP address from the local region of the LinkedIn user" (help centre), while its FAQ describes actions as performed "from your local IP address" — different claims, both the vendor's own. Whether that address is residential or datacentre is not stated: "proxy" returned no hits across the 151 articles of the help centre or the safety page, as of 3 September 2026. The difference between cloud and desktop execution sits underneath both.

Both Dripify and HeyReach pricing pages fetched 2026-09-03. Dripify markets its annual toggle as up to 35% off; HeyReach sells a quarterly term too.

Trials. Dripify: 7-Day Free Trial, No Credit Card Required (pricing), on the Advanced plan with "no restrictions on daily processing limits" (help centre). HeyReach: 14 days, no card, up to 3 LinkedIn accounts, plus a 30-day Agency or Unlimited trial on request (pricing FAQ).

Refunds. Neither publishes a money-back guarantee, and both sets of terms say the opposite. Dripify's terms: "All monthly purchases are non-refundable", with annual plans refundable only "within 24 hours after we receive your payment" and add-on services non-refundable outright. HeyReach's terms of service: "all fees are non-refundable", subject only to its Limited Warranty, Indemnification and Modifications clauses (§7.2, as of 3 September 2026). No refund policy appears on either pricing page (Dripify, HeyReach).

The catch on each side. Dripify's Basic tier sits far below the platform ceiling: 20 connection requests a day against 75 on Pro and Advanced, 30 messages against 100+, 1 drip campaign, and no inbox, CSV export, webhooks or HubSpot until Pro (pricing). HeyReach's small print is on the way up: proxies become your problem on Agency and Unlimited, and enrichment credits are one-time (pricing).

One operator or a fleet: what actually differs

InMail is now the same story on both: Dripify "no longer supports the Basic LinkedIn InMail action" (help centre), and "InMail in HeyReach requires Sales Navigator" (help centre). Without that licence, neither one sends InMails. One caveat on the HeyReach side: its older sequence-steps article still says senders need "a valid Sales Navigator or Recruiter account" and mentions a Premium workaround, so the two vendor pages disagree as of 3 September 2026 — the InMail article is the newer and more explicit.

Email is the thing Dripify does that HeyReach does not. Dripify runs LinkedIn and cold email in one sequence on every tier, 50 emails a day on Basic and 200 above it (help centre); HeyReach sends on LinkedIn only and hands email to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison — Dripify's strongest argument on this page.

Safety controls, in each vendor's own words

Vendor claims, quoted rather than endorsed.

Dripify's adapts to you. Activity Control "adjusts your daily processing limits, guaranteeing a gradual growth in your LinkedIn performance" (help centre), and cooling down means "once it detects excessive activity… it pauses all processes" (help centre). Fixed limits sit above both: "processing limits have been hard-coded into the software… no more than 75 connection requests per DAY… 150 messages per day" (FAQ). Beside all of that sits the vendor's own caveat: "no automatization can overcome the limits set by LinkedIn" (help centre).

HeyReach's is a ceiling you may not lift. On weekly invitations: "we automatically 'freeze' any account… that gets really close to this limit… nor can you override this rule." On daily activity: "Each of our LinkedIn accounts is allowed 200 actions per day… we freeze it until the next day" (help centre). Sequences carry "a minimum of 3 hours delay between two actions" (help centre), and limits belong to the LinkedIn account, not the campaign — three campaigns on one sender share its budget. Warm-up is a protocol the vendor asks you to run by hand: 100 connections manually first, then 5 requests a day in week one rising to 15–20 by week three (help centre).

Only one of the two addresses LinkedIn's rules in public. HeyReach's CMO states a position outright: "LinkedIn's User Agreement explicitly bans software that automates connecting, messaging, liking, and commenting. There is no approved outreach automation tool — ours included." The same post discloses that LinkedIn removed HeyReach's company page and restricted several executives' profiles on March 25, 2026, with its context: "Third-party tools losing brand presence is a standing enforcement pattern. We were not singled out… LinkedIn has done this to every major tool in the space — Apollo, Seamless, Evaboot, Lemlist, LGM — sometimes more than once" (blog). No equivalent statement was found for Dripify: "user agreement", "terms of service" and "ToS" returned nothing on its homepage, FAQ, safety page, terms, privacy policy or 151-article help centre, as of 3 September 2026 — its nearest statement is the caveat quoted above. That condition is industry-wide, and how the category compares on safety is a separate question.

Integrations

Both ship a public API and webhooks, at different points in the price list. HeyReach lists API & Webhooks in its entry Growth plan, alongside an MCP server and a CLI (pricing), with public API documentation. Dripify's Open API can "retrieve data about your campaigns, leads, teams, and team members, as well as add new leads to campaigns", and webhooks are set per campaign — but Webhook integration is Pro-only, so Basic has neither.

On CRMs, both ship a native HubSpot connector. Dripify says it "currently provides integration capabilities through Open API and webhooks" (help centre), plus a native HubSpot integration with 21 mappable fields; its integrations page shows Pipedrive, Salesforce and Zoho logos with no connector documentation, yet that same page's FAQ claims "native connections with HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, Zoho CRM… Pipedrive and ActiveCampaign" — Dripify publishes both, and we have not established which is current. HeyReach lists native connectors for HubSpot, Attio, Breakcold, Slack, Clay, n8n, Instantly and Smartlead (directory); Pipedrive and Salesforce were not on that directory on 3 September 2026, leaving Zapier, Make, n8n or the API.

What users say

Dripify has the deeper record: 4.7 from 477 reviews on Capterra and 4.6 from 519 on Trustpilot. HeyReach is newer and thinner: 4.0 from 51 reviews on Trustpilot, and 5.0 on Capterra from a sample of two, too small to read into.

The criticisms below are individual opinions, not findings. On Dripify, the most repeated theme across low-star Trustpilot reviews is billing, cancellation and refunds: a 1-star reviewer in September 2025 wrote "Don't provide refunds even when you cancel your subscription on day 1 of the new cyle". Value for money is next: a Capterra reviewer (Richard L., 3 stars, July 2025) wrote the "Basic package is VERY limited. Only 1 campaign permitted which can't be edited or archived" — consistent with the quota table above. Against those, hundreds of reviews average 4.6 and 4.7. On HeyReach, support response time recurs: a Trustpilot reviewer (Ernest, January 2026) wrote "their support is virtually nonexistent… it's either be a 'Karen' or wait 3 business days for an answer", and a Capterra reviewer noted "keeping the profiles connected consistently — it requires some maintenance since sessions can expire" — which is the documented behaviour of cookie login, stated plainly by the vendor.

Where ZenMode fits

Both tools run on a vendor's servers, so both answer the IP question with a vendor-assigned IP and both hold some form of your LinkedIn session: Dripify requires your LinkedIn password at setup, while HeyReach offers a cookie login that needs no password and gives each account a dedicated IP it says it never shares. ZenMode takes the other route: a desktop app that runs on your own computer, from your own IP and your own logged-in browser session, so there is no credential handover and no proxy to configure. The trade-off is real: the machine has to be on and awake for anything to send. That suits a founder or a small sales team running one or two LinkedIn accounts on a normal working schedule, and a twenty-account agency considerably less. If you are weighing a swap, see what ZenMode does, ZenMode as a Dripify alternative and ZenMode as a HeyReach alternative.

Verdict

  • Choose Dripify if you are one person driving one LinkedIn account and want LinkedIn and cold email in the same sequence builder. Budget for Pro at $79 rather than Basic: 20 connection requests a day and one campaign are Basic's real shape.
  • Choose HeyReach if you run more than two LinkedIn accounts, or you run them for clients. Sender rotation, a shared team inbox, free user seats and per-client workspaces come with the $79 per sender; white label starts at Agency.
  • Consider a desktop tool if a credential handover and a vendor-supplied proxy both sit badly with you, you run one or two accounts, and you can leave a machine on during sending hours.

FAQ

Which is cheaper for a single LinkedIn account?

Dripify, at the headline: Basic is $59 a month, or $39 billed annually (pricing), against HeyReach's $79 per sender, $63 per seat per month yearly (pricing). But Basic caps you at 20 connection requests a day, 30 messages and 1 drip campaign, and withholds the inbox, exports, webhooks and HubSpot (pricing). On matched quotas, Dripify Pro is $79 — the same headline as HeyReach Growth.

Do either of them need my LinkedIn password?

Dripify does: entering your credentials is step 2 of onboarding. HeyReach prefers the passwordless route, connecting via cookies with "No PIN or password sharing… required for this method", while warning those sessions expire sooner (help centre).

Can I add teammates without paying more?

Both, differently. Dripify includes unlimited team members with owner, manager and user roles, though Multi-team management is Advanced-only and each member driving their own LinkedIn account is a paid seat. HeyReach "charges only per LinkedIn senders, not per users" (pricing FAQ), so clients, VAs and colleagues all get logins while you pay only for connected accounts.

Can either tool send InMails without Sales Navigator?

No. Dripify discontinued its Basic LinkedIn InMail action in July 2026 and now supports Sales Navigator InMails only. HeyReach states that InMail requires Sales Navigator and that Premium and Recruiter accounts cannot send InMails through the platform — though its older sequence-steps article still says senders need "a valid Sales Navigator or Recruiter account", so the two vendor pages disagree as of 3 September 2026.
