How we chose

  • The signals it finds. Engagement with competitors and topics, hiring, funding, job changes and website visits are different signals; the right tool reads the ones your buyers give off.
  • A plain reason on every lead. A lead you cannot explain is a lead you cannot write to well.
  • Whether it writes and sends the message. A list you export to another tool is a second subscription and a second place for replies.
  • Price for one to five people. Per-seat pricing grows fast with each LinkedIn account; a flat plan does not.
  • How you start. Several tools start from one field, your website, and draft the rest.

What a small team should look for

  • Start with the signal your buyers give off most. If they are active on LinkedIn, engagement signals beat company data; if they rarely post, hiring and funding do more.
  • Count LinkedIn accounts, not users. Most of these tools charge per seat or sender, so three people sending from three accounts can cost three times the headline price.
  • Check where replies land. A tool that finds signals but sends nothing means a second tool, a second inbox and copying lists between them.
  • Read the trial terms. Some convert automatically and do not refund; others ask for nothing up front.
