Get Your First Campaign Running in 5 Minutes

Three steps. That's all it takes to go from zero to automated LinkedIn outreach.

Download the Desktop App

ZenMode runs as a desktop app on your computer. This is what makes it safe — everything happens locally from your own machine and IP address, so LinkedIn sees normal human activity. No cloud servers, no proxies, no risk.

Download for your platform:

Downloads are available from your dashboard after signing in.

Go to Dashboard to Download

Mac users: On first launch, macOS will show a confirmation dialog since ZenMode was downloaded from the web. Click “Open” to proceed — the app is signed and notarized by Apple.

Sign into LinkedIn in ZenMode's Browser

When you open ZenMode, it launches its own Chrome browser — this is separate from your regular browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.). You need to sign into LinkedIn inside this ZenMode browser. This is what keeps your outreach safe: everything runs locally from your own IP address with a clean, dedicated session. Your credentials stay on your machine and are never sent to our servers.

ZenMode opens its own Chrome browser — sign into LinkedIn there with your email and password (this is not your regular browser)

Why a separate browser? ZenMode uses its own Chrome browser so your outreach runs from your own IP address with a dedicated session. This is completely separate from your regular browser — your personal browsing is never affected, and LinkedIn sees natural activity from your machine.

Important: Google sign-in doesn't work in ZenMode's browser. You need to use your LinkedIn email and password. If you normally sign into LinkedIn with Google, set a password first: go to linkedin.com in your regular browser, sign out, click “Forgot password?”, and create one.

Tip: Keep the desktop app running in the background while your campaigns are active. It needs to be open to send connection requests and follow-ups. It runs quietly in the background and uses minimal resources.

Create Your First Campaign

Head to your dashboard and click “New Campaign”. You'll set up three things: who to target, what to say, and how to follow up.

Define your target audience

Choose job titles (e.g. VP of Sales, CTO), industries (e.g. SaaS, FinTech), and locations (e.g. London, United States). ZenMode will search LinkedIn for people matching your criteria.

Write your connection message

Write a short, personalised message or let AI generate one for you. Use variables like {{first_name}}, {{title}}, and {{company}} to personalise each message automatically. Keep it under 300 characters for the best acceptance rates.

Set up follow-ups

Add up to 3 follow-up messages that send automatically after someone accepts your connection. Set the timing (e.g. 3 days, then 7 days) and ZenMode handles the rest. Follow-ups stop automatically when someone replies.

Tips for Best Results

Start slow

Begin with 10-15 connection requests per day and gradually increase. If your LinkedIn account is newer (under 6 months), keep it under 15/day. Mature accounts can safely send up to 50/day.

Personalise your messages

Generic messages get ignored. Reference the person's role, company, or industry. Use the AI message generator to create natural-sounding copy, then tweak it to match your voice.

Keep the app running during business hours

ZenMode sends messages during your configured business hours with human-like delays between each action. Leave the app running and it handles everything in the background.

Reply quickly when people respond

The whole point of automation is to free up your time for real conversations. When someone replies, jump in quickly. That's where meetings get booked.
